every mission ends in a box. earned, never bought: snacks, furniture, oddities — no currency, no odds page, no streak stake.

Interrupt a mission, disappear for a week, come back — idel notices, then goes back to work.

04 — faq

the stuff people ask
before they start.

What is Idel?

An iPhone app that makes your chosen scroll traps harder to reach during short missions — and a pixel pet, idel, who keeps the record of the time you take back. The rest of your phone stays useful.

Will my phone still be useful?

Yes — calls, maps, banking, music and 2FA stay one tap away, missions or not. Only the traps you chose step back.

What if I break a mission, or stop for a while?

Nothing bad. Interrupt and idel goes back to work; disappear and the record waits — no decay, no pet harm, no streak to apologize to.

Are the boxes loot boxes?

No — boxes are earned by finishing missions, never bought, never random for money; each holds a known kind of thing: a snack for idel, furniture for the yard, or an oddity. No currency, no odds page, no streak stake.

Is my data private?

The app keeps your mission patterns on your device. This website uses a Meta pixel for its own analytics, and checkout collects what billing needs — the privacy policy lists it plainly.

Is the blocking really unbeatable?

No, and we won't pretend it is. It's Apple's Screen Time framework making traps genuinely harder to reach, with an honest emergency path that's never scored.

Is it on Android?

iPhone only for now — real blocking needs Apple's Screen Time framework. Leave your email and we'll tell you the moment Android lands.
